Mervin Zimmerman founded this company in 1968, starting out with a little red pickup truck and using the family barn as his base of operations. He focused on providing quality plumbing, heating and air conditioning services to residential customers in the local area.
From the beginning, Mervin had a vision of a retail store and showroom where customers could come to see products, get parts and receive advice. From this vision, The Bath Barn was born. Over the years, Mervin Zimmerman Inc. emerged as a leader in custom bath remodeling and continued to provide plumbing, heating and air conditioning service to residential and light commercial customers.
Today, our retail store & showroom features bathroom designs, along with hundreds of bathroom products on display to help our customers visualize their dream bathrooms and make that vision a reality within their ideal budget.
As a family-owned and service-oriented business, MZI’s mission is to provide the highest quality and workmanship possible while being available 24 hours a day to serve our customers.
Merle, son of Mervin, began his work experience as a plumber’s helper right out of high school. He quickly moved up the ranks gaining experience in all aspects of the company. As president he continues to be involved in the day to day management of the company to insure customers receive quality service in all areas. Merle is a movie buff and enjoys spending time with his family. Merle and his wife Kimberly are passionate about orphaned children and lead a ministry called Team127 that supports adoption of orphans specifically those with special needs.
