Meet The Mervin Zimmerman Team
Merle began his work experience as a plumber’s helper right out of high school as a son of Mervin Zimmerman. He quickly moved up the ranks gaining experience in all aspects of the company. As president he continues to be involved in the day-to-day management of the company to ensure customers receive quality service in all areas as well as daily dispatching for the service department. Merle enjoys history, numbers and learning new information along with spending time with his family.
Cody began working summers and Saturdays in his teen years in the store and showroom as a grandson to Mervin Zimmerman. After college, he joined the sales team specializing in bath remodeling. Today he is Vice President and has led our bath remodeling team into what it is today. Cody enjoys sports trivia, movies and humorous people. He also loves teaching Sunday School and spending time with his family.
Bonnie started working in the family business beside her father, Mervin, right out of high school and has been in various office positions ever since. Starting out full-time and then transitioning to part-time while she raised her children, she is now back leading the office and showroom. Bonnie enjoys helping customers choose fixtures in the showroom to create a bathroom that fits their style. Along with spending time with her family, she enjoys teaching Children’s Sunday School and organizing Bible Quizzing for youth at her church.
Vickie started out as a receptionist answering phones. She now handles accounts payable and receivable assisting everyone in the office as needed. She is also the go to person for our Preferred Service Plans and assists the Service Manager with scheduling and dispatching. Vickie finds humor in many things and will often be heard laughing in the office. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
RJ is our go-to guy for parts and all kinds of trouble shooting for plumbing and heating. He has worked at MZI and Bath Barn for many years and has seasoned knowledge of all parts and repair from his purchasing and field experience, in his earlier days. You can generally find him at the parts counter. He enjoys chatting with people and getting the chance to help customers and co-workers solve their problems. RJ loves being with his family and helping his church.
Ed has worked at Mervin Zimmerman Inc. since graduating from college. In HVAC & Plumbing Sales he uses his years of experience on the field to help people find just the right solution to meet their needs. He enjoys educating people about their systems and the products that are available. In his leisure time he enjoys spending time with his grandsons, motorcycling and snowmobiling.
Brian has worked as a Bath Remodeling lead technician for MZI and Bath Barn. His experience and expertise in bath remodeling prepared him well to be able to supervise, advise, and teach others in the field. Brian will work with you to make sure your bath project runs smoothly and to problem solve any challenges that come up in the remodeling process. He enjoys using his plumbing skills on Mission trips and heading to his cabin to hunt or spend time with family.
Cole has grown up helping out at MZI and the Bath Barn, being the grandson of Mervin Zimmerman. He manages our bath remodel projects, overseeing scheduling and ensuring the timely completion of our customers’ jobs. Cole is also part of our retail sales team, bringing enthusiasm to the showroom and a genuine passion for meeting customers’ needs—often going the extra mile. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their three young sons.
Linsey, granddaughter of Mervin Zimmerman, began working by doing odds and ends around the business at a young age. Now as the Marketing Manager she enjoys collaborating on new ideas to promote the company and communicate brand awareness. When not at the Bath Barn, she enjoys hiking with her family, hosting people in her home, and leading women’s Bible studies.
Alison had been working in the Medical Field as a CMA which gave her experience in serving and meeting the needs of others. Coming into our showroom as a consultant was a natural transition to helping customers find bath products that fit their lifestyle. Alison will greet you with a smile as she helps you with anything you are looking to add to your bath. She loves being a mom and spending time with her family.
Dave started with MZI as a Bath Remodeling assistant and within a short time he moved up to a lead tech for Bath Remodeling. Bringing his experience from the field, he easily transitioned into the role of sales and design. Dave enjoys helping customers design their bathroom and finding just the right product. In his spare time, he is outside fishing, hiking and hunting as well as volunteering with the local fire department as a firefighter.
Karter came to MZI and Bath Barn after working in customer service and is the grandson of Mervin Zimmerman. As a drafter, he uses his computer skills to prepare all the drawings and plans for bath projects. He also helps customers find products they are looking for in the showroom. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging with friends and family, watching movies and playing board games.
As our purchasing agent, Garrett orders the materials and products needed to complete our jobs. He collaborates with vendors to ensure we have everything necessary for smooth operations. His organizational skills and attention to detail are invaluable in his role. Garrett learns quickly and adopts new processes to enhance his work. In his free time, he enjoys playing music, traveling, and spending time with friends.
